Over the past 6 years DryWallFlorida has worked with more than 250 Partnered Hurricane Contractors helping them to find the people they need for reconstruction projects, clean up & basic infrastructure repair after a hurricane. If a hurricane makes landfall, the following will be needed, ready to travel on very short notice. Job opportunities electricians are expected to increase as fast as all trades through the year 2014. As populations grow, more electricians will be needed to install and maintain wiring in homes, factories, offices, and other buildings. New buildings need to increasingly accommodate the use of computers and telecommunications equipment. and the increasing demand for electricians in factories for robots and other systems will require more complex wiring systems be installed and maintained. More electrician jobs will be created as older structures are rehabilitated, which usually requires that they be brought up to meet existing electrical codes. In 2004, the national average hourly wage for an electricians was $20.33. The middle 50% earned between $15.43 and $26.90. The lowest 10% earned less than $12.18, and the highest 10% earned more than $33.63.
