SUMMARY OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS: The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) regulations require covered federal contractors and subcontractors to collect information about the gender, race and ethnicity of each ``applicant'' for employment. The final ruling modifies OFCCP applicant record keeping requirements to address challenges presented by the use of the Internet and electronic data technologies in contractors' recruiting and hiring processes. Rule is intended to address record keeping requirements regarding ``Internet Applicants'' under all OFCCP recordkeeping and data collection requirements.

DryWallFlorida and our Partnered Contractors have begun the process of putting together a database of people who are willing to travel, with less than 4 days notice to various locations around the Gulf Coast to assist or work hands-on with general clean up and ecological restoration of the areas affected.

We are looking for the following personnel. EPA Certified Haz-Mat technicians. Welders and others who are capable of setting up and taking down temporary structural steel frames out of 20+ foot stock. Dump truck owners with own loader. Laborers who aren't afraid of long hours and hard, dirty work in a hot and humid environment.
Wages start at $13.41 per hour depending on location, equipment and job classification.

OSHA HAZWOPER training will be required for most positions.
Licensed/Insured Subs and Equipment Owner/Operators may be eligible for per-diem and tool/fuel allowance.

It's important to know that most people don't get to clean up birds in an air conditioned room.
Please take a few minutes and search GOOGLE for information, videos and pictures concerning oil spill clean ups. This is extremely hard work and may not be for you. Besides being very physical you should also remember that the Gulf Coast can be a hot and humid environment that may require the use of protective clothing, safety gear & more. Filling out the application without a basic understanding of the work involved with an oil spill would be a waste of everybody's time.
